Shooting events, for me, is all about capturing the candid moments. Posed shots are boring. In that, you have to be somewhat invisible. In the case of this image, I’m standing in an open area, I’ve got an HUGE lens with an on-camera flash, and a Gary Fong lightsphere.
In this moment I’m anything BUT invisible. Yet, this brainiac, unintentional photo bomber, decides to walk IN FONT of me rather than walk behind me. Obviously I’m exposed for the young man in the left side of the frame.
Done venting. Enjoy the day.
