Evernote announced a new–and unlikely–partnership today.
The wildly popular productivity app will partner with Moleskine, the famed maker of notebooks and stationery, to produce pen-and-paper notebooks optimized for digital life.
“We are bridging paper and digital,” Moleskine chief executive Arrigo Berni told VentureBeat.
The notebook is called the Evernote Smart Notebook, and it was created for the latest Evernote iOS app. After jotting down their notes, users can create digital versions with the app. According to an Evernote blog post, a dotted pattern covering the notebook’s pages corrects distortion and removes shadows in the photographs.
