I don’t post a lot about food on this blog but it’s not because I’m not passionate about. I LOVE food and I’m glad to say that my children are developing that same passion, especially my youngest.
So, the reason for this post is that since I posted a couple of iPhone pictures of some recent meals, on Facebook, I’ve been asked about the oils and vinegars I’ve been using.
Well, last week my wife and visited a local Farmers Market and we came across Olivedipity. I sampled a number of their products and was really impressed. From my experience infused oils/vinegars are either way to strong or so weak that you can’t tell what the infusion is. That is NOT the case with Olivedipity. Every product I tasted I loved but the pocket did not support my desire to buy one of each.
I decided on the Pomegranate Balsamic Vinegar and the Blood Orange Olive Oil. I prepared one meal with each product and they were both a huge success.
I’m definitely going back for some of the others that I tasted. By the looks of it, not all their products are listed on their website but I’m sure it will be updated soon if that’s the case.
I had been cooking with products from a Northern California company but no one in the south carries their products. Plus, I love supporting local businesses.
Olivedipity comes highly recommended. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.
