At Old South, retuning a prized pipe organ

The 88-year-old Skinner organ at Old South Church, which has been silenced for three months because of concern about how the instrument’s vibrations might affect a sanctuary wall damaged during MBTA excavation work on Dartmouth Street, will be played again for the first time at the church’s Festival Worship Service at 11 a.m. Sunday. Behringer EURODESK SX4882 Update

The Behringer EURODESK SX4882, which you can see a video of at HowAudio.com, is scheduled for release in early summer, according to Behringer. They are excited about this console because it’s been a while “since there was an analog line-in console on the market.”
