Why don’t dogs get laryngitis?

After 8 years and two homes I still have to listen to neighbors who REFUSE to deal with their barking dogs. So, one of my many questions I have of GOD is “Why don’t dogs get laryngitis”? They bark non-stop from 3 to 7 am, every day of every week, of every month, year after year. Don’t get me wrong, I like dogs. In fact, we have one ourselves. BUT – if and when he starts barking we deal it RIGHT A WAY.
